Partner Conference at Chiangmai

Finally I have a chance to attend our principle conference, previously it is attended by all the bosses. It was very good experience and get to meet our principle technical staff. This conference was held at Chiangmai starting from 4th Feb till 8th Feb. I have been thinking of visiting Chiangmai long time ago.

We took AirAsia direct flight to Chiangmai and it landed early then expected, great !!! so we have more time on the first day... We decided to join the local half day tour to visit the most propular place in Chiangmai, ie. Doi Suithep and Hmong Villages where both places are near to each other. It took abt 45 minutes from city. In Hmong Village we get to see poppy flower and poppy seed. Poppy flowers are in white, purple or red... and the poppy seed.

Is a very good experience that we can see and touch poppy flower so near ... these are for tourist purpose.. After visited the Hmong Village on the way down, we visited Doi Suithep very beautiful temple. It is high on top of the hill, we can walk up by the stair or by escalator but paid money lor..

After dinner we went to the night market near Tapae gate, this market is only open on sunday nite it is big and huge a lot of thing to buy from here.. There is another night bazaar which opens every nite but we did not went for it. In fact most of the locals like to go to the night market near Tapae gate.. seems like the price there are cheaper compared to the regular night bazaar.

2nd day, we have some interesting events, ie. golf or city tour in the morning and afternoon there is scale down version of Amazing Race..  3rd and 4th day is the real stuff.. that is what i am there for.. ININ partner conference sales and technical sessions... demo slides.. and etc.. all the interesting and boring stuff.. haha... 

There are still a lot more to explore in Chiangmai.. specially golf . .. i enjoy the golf and the weather in Feb.. between 16c and 30c.
